On May 26, the Asian Games Organising Office of Deqing County, Huzhou City, sets up a 45-square-metre high-definition big screen outdoors to broadcast the "Exciting Hangzhou" FIBA 3x3 Deqing Huzhou Challenger 2023 live.

The viewing site is on an outdoor square decorated with fountains, green landscapes and colorful light strings, attracting local citizens and tourists outside the competition venue to enjoy the fun of watching the event together. Comprehensive supporting facilities including food and beverage services are located around the viewing site.

Mr. Shen, a veteran basketball fan and citizen of Deqing, said, "The image quality is amazing, and it is immersive with no delay; it's really fun to watch the game outdoor on a big screen!"

Smart Hangzhou 2022, a one-stop digital games-watching service platform for the Hangzhou Asian Games, displayed the event with a dedicated page and broadcasted it live in full. Live broadcast was also available on the WeChat platform.

"For citizens who cannot watch the game in the venue, we have tried our best to provide a viewing platform with a similar atmosphere to being on-site; we also enable visitors to immerse themselves in the strong event atmosphere of Deqing," says Su Qin, a staff member of the Asian Games Preparatory Committee Office of Deqing.

After this event, the big screen's broadcast function will be maintained for more upcoming sports activities.
