On May 20, the "Exciting Hangzhou" Qualification Trials for Dragon Boat National Training Team opened at Wenzhou Dragon Boat Centre.

The two-day competition attracted 192 athletes from 12 dragon boat teams across the country. Three teams from Zhejiang participated in it, including the Wenzhou University Dragon Boat Team, the only team from Wenzhou.

The competition includes six events including men's and women's 200m, 500m, and 1,000m straight race for 12-person dragon boats.

The national dragon boat team will be composed of the top 3 teams in these events, and compete in the dragon boat event at the Hangzhou Asian Games for China.

As the venue for the dragon boat event of the Hangzhou Asian Games, Wenzhou Dragon Boat Centre will take this opportunity to focus on testing the venue facilities and the venue operations team, and make sufficient preparations for the Hangzhou Asian Games.

From October 4 to 6, the dragon boat event of the Hangzhou Asian Games will witness 6 gold medals here.
