On January 8, after the four-day competition, the 2023 Nike Cup "Future Star" Greece Competition came to an end in Chengdu, Sichuan. Forty-eight young tennis players (U12) who were the best all over the country participated in the event. At last, Lu Jiayi, a young tennis player of Ningbo, defeated her opponent with the score of 6:1 in the women's singles finals, successfully won the champion, and qualified for the Global "Future Star" Elite Competition that would be held in Greece in Spring, 2023.

The Global "Future Star" is a world-class event that is jointly created by IMG and ΤΑΤΟΪ clubs. Twenty-four tennis players who are the best in the world and are at the age of 12 and below are invited to compete in Athens, Greece. The winner will become the "World Champion" of the age group.

Lu Jiayi said that she was very happy and looked forward to participating in the world-class event of Greece. In an interview, the young player stated that, during the competition, she can see her strength and weakness, enjoy the event, and expect to present her style like Li Na so as to win the glory for the motherland.
