The "Beautiful Zhejiang" Global Short Video Contest launched in July has gathered nearly 400 original works from talented video creators both at home and abroad.

The videos showcase the amazing landscapes, culture, and socioeconomic development of East China's Zhejiang province from a global perspective, while also capturing colorful images and heart-warming moments from real life.

The contest's organizing committee has drawn up a shortlist of 232 works for online display and further evaluation. A seven-day online voting session started on Dec 20 and will last until Dec 26. We invite you to vote for your favorite videos, which will be considered when determining the final scores.

Judges

The contest has invited experts from home and abroad to serve as professional judges. They come from the China Federation of Radio and Television Associations, China Media Group, Xinhua News Agency Zhejiang Branch, Zhejiang Radio and Television Group, Discovery Channel, Iberia Media Portugal and other media platforms.

Awards

Scores given by online voting and professional judges will determine the winners of the contest’s Comprehensive Awards and Individual Awards. The former includes 5 first-place prizes, 10 second-place prizes, 15 third-place prizes, and 30 honorable mentions; the latter includes one award each for Most Creative, Best Videography, Best Editing, Best Animation Design, and Most Popular Work, as well as several Special Awards for International Collaboration and Excellent Groups.

In addition to trophies and certificates, the award winners will be offered various gifts including a GoPro action camera, DJI Osmo Pocket, and DJI Osmo Mobile 3 Combo.

The award-winning works will be posted online across a wide range of media platforms, including Zhejiang International Channel (ZTV-World)'s official accounts on WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, YouTube, Facebook, Tik-Tok, the English website of Zhejiang, InZhejiang, the Beautiful Zhejiang Douyin account, Tianmu Video, as well as overseas collaborative media.

Duration: from 8 pm, Dec 20 to 8 pm, Dec 26

Rules: To ensure the fairness and integrity of the contest, each person is allowed to cast10 votes per day for10 different entries. The votes will take immediate effect upon submission.

Final score = score given by professional judges (70%) + online voting score (30%)
