en.hangzhou.com.cn 2014/08/14 20:07 Source:Source: Qianjiang Evening News

Yesterday was July 18th according to the lunar calendar and the tide was extremely fierce. The wave point in Xiasha Bridge and that in the Qige tide watching scene were all over 1meter. At about 2:30 in the afternoon yesterday, there gathered about two or three thousand people in the Qige Zhutoujiao Dam, which doubled the population of the day before yesterday.

These days are in the rising season of the tide and the power of the tide of Qiantang River is so strong that cannot be ignored. In this year in Hangzhou there has already reported two accidents about the tide carried away some people. Here we remind people again to take care of the safety when watching the tide.
