The 2014 Challenging Competition named “Brave Cold-Resistant People Who can Swim in the Cold River” held in Xinan River started in July 19th and the competition will settle no ranking. The winter-swimming amateurs aged from 18 to 65 can all sign for the program. The temperature of Xinan River is 14℃ to 17 ℃ the whole year and even in summer the temperature is still very low. The competition will be applied in the form of team that is organized volunteer in the local swimming association and the number is limited within 1000 people.
