Last night, the 2014 "Spring of West Lake" Art Festival and Hangzhou Show of New Operas open today. Another repertoire – dancing play "Meet the Grand Canal" is performed at the Hangzhou Grand Theatre. Cui Wei, the Director, said that "Meet the Grand Canal" is not only an arena of art, but also a cultural dissemination action.

    What’s staged next are Shaoxing Opera, Hangzhou Opera, Mu Opera, Shaoxing Opera , musicals and other productions. Organizers said the majority of the participating productions are premiered.
