Nicknamed as “Little Red Bike”, the Hangzhou public bicycle system has been put into operations for many years across the city. Recently, residents in Daicun Town, Xiaoshan District may find some mountain bikes at the Little Red Bike docking stations on their doorsteps. According to Hangzhou Public Bicycle Company, it plans to expand the electronic bike-sharing system to downtown Hangzhou. Daicun is where the trial operation has started. There are 11 spots in Daicun that could be used for parking the electric red bikes. It is free of charge within an hour riding and 1 yuan per hour after the first hour, the cap line is set at 5 yuan. The ebike-sharing program has debuted in Hangzhou since 2017. Binjiang District was the first trail area across the city, which seemed to be well-liked by residents. The electric red bikes are provided with solar batteries and storage batteries supply which can automatically charge and continuously supply power. The batteries can be endured up to 15 kilometers. |
