Currently, Hangzhou is striving to build or expand 11 plants including Qianjiang Phase IV as to sewage treating. Trial service is secured at the end of June on Phase IV of Qige Wastewater Treatment Plant (300,000 metric tons/day), which is under construction as the first semi-underground large wastewater plant in Hangzhou.
