Hangzhou will on 5 June be the host of the home event of World Environment Day, which is hosted by United Nations Environment Programme and Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China, and undertaken by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province and People’s Government of Hangzhou City. With a stream of supporting activities, the event will focus on the theme addressing air pollution.
