ZHAO Yingmin and Joyce Msuya jointly announced at The Fourth UN Environment Assembly on 15 March that China would be the host of World Environment Day 2019, with a focus on Air Pollution. The former is Head of the Chinese Delegation and Vice Minister of Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the PRC, and the latter is Acting Executive Director of UNEP.
Concerted efforts are targeted for further promotion of World Environment Day on 5 June, 2019, with the home even in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang, China, as well as activities beyond. |
