A photography expo was held in the waiting room at Wulin Square station of metro subway in Hangzhou on the New Year’s Day of 2019. It was interesting to see that figures in the titled Hangzhou Families were not locals but Hangzhou expats.

The shooting activity started from 2015 by TU Chun (photographer), who has interviewed more than 40 foreign families living in Hangzhou.

There are two reasons for anchoring expats as the subjects---one is that the capital city becomes increasingly international lately and the other is that it is very interesting to see western and eastern cultures have an exchange just here in Hangzhou.
