With the purpose of excavating the cultural connotation of Qiantang River, carrying forward the culture of Qiantang River, establishing a protection system of Qiantang River cultural relics and improve the capacity to protect the culture of Qiantang River, Hangzhou plans to build the Qiantang River Museum with a total planning floor area of11,539.4 square meters.
