The opening ceremony was held in Zhuhai, Guangdong on the morning of 23rd. President XI Jinping was present and announced that the bridge was officially in operation.

Boasting a total length of about 55 kilometers, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is a super-large engineering for cross-sea traffic and transportation among the three cities referred, which has been constructed out of the first jointed efforts in between them. The bridge spans Lingding Bay, neighboring Hong Kong in the east, and in the west next to Zhuhai and Macao.
