Hangzhou will start to accept the residence permit application of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents since 1^st September.

Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents who have been living in Hangzhou for more than half a year and met one of the three requirements – legal and stable job, legal and stable residence or continuous study – can apply for residence permit with valid Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents or five-year Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents in local public security offices.
