The newly revised Hangzhou Smoking Control in Public Places was issued yesterday.

According to the new regulation, smoking is forbidden in the following public places: indoor public places, indoor workplaces, public transport means, and outdoor areas of some public places, such as nurseries, kindergartens, primary and middle schools, maternal and child care service centers, and children’s hospitals. Some smoking control places will ban smoking after the transition period finishes.
