A good news about Xiaoshan International Airport was released yesterday: T4 Terminal with an area of 690,000 square meters and a comprehensive traffic center with an area of 530,000 square meters will be newly built. Once the new facilities are finished, Xiaoshan International Airport will become the second largest airport – in floor area, design capacity, and number of flights – in the Yangtze River Delta, following Pudong International Airport.

The passenger throughput of the airport reached 30 million on 13^th December, 2016, making it one of “the busiest airport in the world”.
