Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Statistics released the economic development report of the first half of 2018 yesterday, announcing that the provincial gross value of production has reached 2,567,400,000,000 yuan, increasing by 7.6% year-on-year based on comparable price. The increase rate is higher that the national average level.

As Zhejiang keeps deepening economic transformation and upgrading, the eight major industries have provided new power for economic growth, and digital economy has taken a lead in industrial upgrading. In the first half of 2018, the value added of the core industry of provincial digital economy has reached 234,800,000,000 yuan, increasing by 16.4% year-on-year based on current price and occupying 9.1% of the GDP.
