A special letter of congratulation was sent to Zhejiang from Bert Hofman, the World Bank’s new Country Director for China, saying “I’m happy to inform you that The Comprehensive Environment Treatment Program of the Small Towns in Zhejiang Qiantang River Basin has won the World Bank’s Vice President Team Award in the Field of Sustainable Development in 2018 Fiscal Year.”

The Qiantang River Program stood out among over 100 excellent finished programs and was finally selected by the World Bank. Only 15 programs all over the world won this honor.
