Hangzhou Yunhe Group will collect suggestions globally for Urban Design of the Core Area of the Grand Canal with Hangzhou Planning Bureau, inviting world-class planning and consulting institutions to make plans for “the cultural belt of theGrand Canal” and “revitalizing northern Hangzhou”.

The core area of the Grand Canal New City starts from National Highway 320 in the east, Kangqiao Road in the north, and stretches to the Grand Canal in the west, Jinchang Road in the south, including the middle area of the Grand Canal New City and Hangzhou Steel Factory, covering an area of about 6.8km².
