Hangzhou Metropolitan Area Entertained over 15 Million Tourists during Spring Festival

Hangzhou, Huzhou, Jiaxing and Shaoxing welcomed 15.5606 million tourists during the Spring Festival and made RMB 16.39 billion Yuan in revenue. Hangzhou also witnessed a 1.5% increase in foreign travelers on year-on-year basis. As the direct flight opened, North American market was under rapidly growth, which allowed Hangzhou to attract 1.6 times more tourists during the seven-day Spring Festival holiday from the same period last year.
