Shizuoka Prefecture Has Been Sister Prefecture-Province with Zhejiang for 35 Years

Shizuoka Prefecture established sister relationship with Zhejiang Province on 20th April, 1982, the very day of the 10th anniversary of the normalization of Sino-Japanese diplomatic relations. Now in the 35th year since the establishment of the special relationship, Shizuoka Prefecture will have further cooperation with Zhejiang Province in different fields, including food culture, health care, elderly care, and sports.
