Made-in-Zhejiang Anticancer Medicine Benefits Domestic and Overseas Patients

Zhejiang now ranks the sixth place in comprehensive technological progress, the fifth place in regional innovation ability, and the third place in enterprise technology innovation ability in China. (-)-β-elemene, extracted from Wenyujin (Curcuma wenyujin Y.H.Chen et C.Ling), which is one of the eight typical traditional Chinese medicines of Zhejiang, has become the first anticancer medicine material discovered in China. It helps China fill in the gap in anticancer medicine field.
