The opening ceremony of the 20th Shanghai International Film Festival was held on 17th June. Chinese film The Chinese Widow, presented by Hangzhou film companies, was chosen as the opening night film. This is the first time for a Hangzhou film, and even a Zhejiang film, to be the opening night film of international competitive feature film festival. Meanwhile, this film will enter into rivalry for Gold Goblet Award.
