West Lake: Stepping into the Season of Cherry Blossoms in Warm Spring

Cherry blossoms including Prunus serrulata and Kawazu-zakura, which are planted in Huagang Scenic Area, are all early-spring varieties blooming in early February. As the most famous cherry blossom among all mid spring cherry blossoms which are the largest in number, Prunus x yedoensis will bloom in mid to late March. Late-spring cherry blossoms will bloom between late March and early April, which are mainly in Tortoise Pool Scenic Area.
