Cainiao Network released the delivery service report during this year’s Double 11 shopping festival, which shows that Zhejiang University, for the third consecutive year, has received the largest number of packages across the country during the festival as a total of 540,000 packages arrived on the campus, while the number of packages surpassed 60,000 on Nov 11.

ZJU is also the first university that has used unmanned logistic vehicles to deliver packages during the shopping festival.

A temporary “parcel villa” was built within two days on the campus, equipped with unmanned vehicles, unmanned fetching machines, delivery machines, and other IoT smart devices.

The smart logistic station will be applied to more college campuses.
