VANISHING DAYS by ZHU Xin has been on the shortlist of the 69th Berlin International Film Festival to be held on Feb. 7th, according to the newest release. It’s the virgin feature film of the young director, who is from Hangzhou.

What the movie has brought to ZHU Xin is more than success, but is that, in his view, there will be mounting people to share the stories in Hangzhou, who in return will be captured by the beauty of the city. Correspondingly, the young man regards himself as a conveyor of cultures.

Recent years have seen an increasing number of graduates from China Academy of Art stand out in the stated field.
