The approved construction of interurban railways in Hangzhou metropolitan area makes “half an hour” metropolitan area outing plan possible.

    After the environment impact report was approved by the Ministry of Environmental Protection last year, four interurban light rails from Hangzhou to Lin’an, Fuyang, Haining and Keqiao have already stepped into the preliminary design stage. Thereinto two of them (Hangzhou - Lin’an & Hangzhou - Fuyang) aim to start construction by the end of this year.
