Yesterday, the municipal government of Hangzhou issued “Measures to Implement the Work of Building Hangzhou-Style Civil Residence Demonstration Villages” in order to construct an upgraded “Beautiful Countryside”.

    In 2 years, a number of city-level key demonstration villages and general demonstration villages for “Hangzhou-Style Civil Residence” will be built in Hangzhou. In another 3-5 years, a number of new rural communities with Hangzhou characteristics will be developed based on the local natural landscape and mountain and water resources, and several model civil residential zones where people live and work in peace and contentment will be formed.
